About Tiffany

I am a survivor of domestic violence who has personally navigated custody and financial litigation following an abusive marriage. As a single mother who put herself through law school and has practiced North Carolina family law since 2011. I understand both the legal and emotional realities of divorce, child custody disputes, domestic violence protective orders, and high-conflict litigation.

Through Live Free Legal, I share the knowledge I have gained from over two decades of work in domestic violence advocacy. This platform provides faith-based legal education, structured preparation resources, and practical tools for women facing separation, divorce, coercive control, narcissistic abuse, parental alienation concerns, and post-separation abuse.

The information offered through Live Free Legal is educational in nature and is designed to help women better understand how family courts generally evaluate custody, financial matters, documentation, and division of marital assets. It does not constitute legal representation or individualized legal advice.

I also provide a Biblical perspective for women of faith navigating family court. Separation and divorce can feel isolating and spiritually confusing. Live Free Legal integrates practical legal education with faith-centered principles to encourage strength, wisdom, and resilience during difficult seasons.

My professional experience includes extensive work in domestic violence cases, high-conflict custody litigation, and complex family law matters in North Carolina. I have completed additional training through the Institute on Violence, Abuse, and Trauma and have worked with victims, survivors, and families impacted by abuse. Through this educational platform, my commitment is to share general legal knowledge, preparation tools, and courtroom literacy principles so women feel informed, organized, and supported as they move forward.

Important: Live Free Legal provides legal education services only. Membership and participation do not create an attorney-client relationship and do not constitute legal representation. Individualized legal advice is provided only through a signed engagement agreement for clients formally retained in North Carolina through Lesnik Family Law, P.C.
