Equipped to Stand is a structured, faith-based legal education program designed for women navigating divorce and custody cases involving coercive control, emotional abuse, high-conflict personalities, and financial manipulation.

Inspired by Ephesians 6, the S.T.A.N.D. framework equips women with foundational court literacy principles in both custody and financial matters:

• S – Strategic Court & Financial Literacy

• T – Truth-Based Documentation (Parenting & Property)

• A – Anchored Communication Under Pressure

• N – Narrative Awareness in Abuse & Asset Division

• D – Disciplined Preparation for Court and Settlement Discussions

Through the S.T.A.N.D. Curriculum, participants receive general legal education about how family courts typically evaluate:

• Patterns of coercive control and post-separation abuse

• Communication and credibility in high-conflict custody disputes

• Documentation and evidence presentation

• Income analysis, hidden income concerns, and financial transparency

• Division of marital assets and debts

• Business ownership interests and complex property issues

• Retirement accounts, real property, and equitable distribution principles

Participants learn how to:

• Identify and document financial irregularities

• Understand the general framework of equitable distribution

• Organize financial records and marital property inventories

• Recognize common tactics used in financial abuse

• Develop structured, calm responses in high-conflict financial negotiations

• ✓ 12-week virtual educational sessions held weekly on Tuesdays at 8:00 PM
  ✓ Live educational generalized non-case specific Q&A discussions following each session focused on clarifying information presented in each group
